How did you spend your Monday night?

I fed kids, went for a walk with said kids (and dog), washed sheets kid #2 peed on this morning, cleaned 3 bathrooms, put kids to bed and cleaned the kitchen. It's now 9:00, and I am ready for bed. Good and ready.

Abby promised me no crabbiness in the morning. She has picked out tomorrow's clothes - she likes to put them in the shape of a person. All night there will be an invisible body in a cute pink t-shirt and jean shorts laying flat out on her floor.

Jakey is whining that he has to go potty. This is his favorite trick. No, he's not potty trained. He's fighting that with every Pull-up he has. But he knows that if I think he'll really use the potty, I'll open the gate to baby jail and take him to the bathroom. He will be free for a few fleeting moments. He'll sit and smile at me like, "I'm trying to go. Really. You just keep waiting." Rotten kid.

So, the evening wasn't too bad. Half way through cleaning our bathroom, I realized Pat won't be here until Sunday. I will get to enjoy a clean bathroom for 6 whole days! Woo hoo!

Few more things before I crash. Pat spent the evening having dinner with an old friend from the Marines. Look for his update tomorrow!
