Road Trip Begins

Pat and Rachel left about 6:00 this morning to start their cross-country trek. They are hoping to hit Ohio by tonight, and then into D.C. tomorrow afternoon. Pat says he might try to blog once they get to their hotel. They are staying in Virginia all week. Don't know if he'll get to the blogging, but you can follow him on Twitter.

I'll be blogging the other side of the story from here. Home for 8 days with the kids. This morning we had swimming lessons and then a trip to the vet for Gretzky. (He had hot-spots. Nothing serious. 10 days of antibiotics). We just finished lunch. So approximately 6 hours into the week, I am out of things to do. Great. This is going to be fantastic.
