Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons By Lorna Landvik
I got to read this book while I was really sick - layin' in bed, hooked up to my IV. It was the perfect book for this situation. Landvik is a Minnesotan, and these housewives all live in Minneapolis. The book covers about four decades in the lives of five women who become great friends after starting a book club. I loved this book.

The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
I read this book while convalescing this summer. The characters in this story are so amazing. Effortlessly, I felt like I had known of them for years and years, and I wished I could be friends with them. This is one of those books where, after finishing it, you find yourself missing the characters for weeks.
I am in a music drought. I just having been seeking out new sounds or paying any attention. I do know that I really like the soundtrack from Garden State, and it's on my Amazon wishlist. :)
Garden State is my movie entry for now too. I don't get out much, but we were lucky enough to catch it. Loved it!
TV is boring. I am keeping up with some of the standards - The Apprentice, ER, Will & Grace, whatever comes on that same night. The only saving grace is that we have PVR - TiVo for our dish. I can't stand watching anything in real time!
