See the photos.
Born Tuesday, February 8 (Mardi Gras) Jake came a little early, but we were oh, so glad to see him! He weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz., so he was a little smaller than his sister, but he was also 2 1/2 weeks early!
First photos.
Coming Home
Her second birthday.Sunday, October 3, 2004. We celebrated with a trip to the Minnesota Zoo and a small party of cake and ice cream with the Shriver/Findley/Vang families.
Abby celebrated her first birthday with friends and family - October 3, 2003.
We visited our friends Chris and Inger this weekend (August 2003) so that Max and Abby could have a little playdate. It was so good to see them all, and we all had a lot of fun.

Abby's First 6 Months
Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8 2004 in St. Paul, MN. We saw The Stanley Cup, we saw the skills competition, we cheered for the Western Conference (although they lost 6-4), and we spotted celebrities. "It's a great day for hockey."
Via Sean in New York - here's a little video fun from the weekend!
A weekend to celebrate US Hockey. August 10 and 11, Giant's Ridge.

Trading Spaces - June 2003.
Even though I could post every photo ever taken of my favorite golden retriever, in the interest of time, space,
and bandwidth, we have consolidated the past few months.
Gretzky's First Puppy Year
Our friends Greta and Erik welcomed their third baby into the world last week. Cooper Josef was born at
11:52pm on Saturday, May 3. He is exactly seven months older than Abby. The Moms are already planning their prom date.
Congrats!
To prove we do have a life. . . sorta.

Thursday Night Gang
Although our schedule has changed to accommodate grown-up life,
this group has been gathering for dinner since '95 (longer if you count beer and
pizza in college). This was dinner in March, 2003.
Snowy Day
We finally got a decent snowfall the night of February 2, 2003. It was a wet, heavy snow. I went out early the next
morning to get some pictures of the quiet. My favorite kind of morning. Just one of the reasons I love living in Minnesota.
